Welcome Back
Hope everyone had a great Summer Break. Well done to the students that continued to attend our Summer classes. Well done to a few of you who sent me a photo of you training on holiday – next year we will run a competition on our facebook page for Summer kicking photos 😊
Welcome to any new students who are joining this term – thank you to everyone who advertises, recommends and passes on our contact details. We have a busy Term 3 with a Black Belt Grading in September, National Championships in Nov/Dec, and Kup Grading in December.
Great Exam Results
Well done to all the students who took GCSE & A-Level examinations – thank you for letting us know how you got on 😊 we are really proud of you all.
Kup Grading Results Term 2
It was a small grading for Term 1 and there was no grading in Term 3 2018, so this was a big one and was a very good standard – well done to all the successful students.
The Term 3 Kup Grading will be on Monday 2nd December - no normal Junior classes this day – just examinations for selected students. All students must have the club badge on their uniform for the grading, and students going for Green-Tag and above must have the protective equipment for the grading exam. There will be a pre-test in the class 2 weeks before to check which students are ready. Invitations will be emailed out after the pre-test with the exact grading time – please note for this grading days/times cannot be changed, registration will be on the day.
2019 Annual Club Poomsae Championships
Well done to everyone at the Annual Club Championships on 10th July, especially the new students who competed for the first time. It was a great atmosphere with fantastic Performances from everyone. Thank you to the Black Belt judging Panel, all the performers, and the supportive specatators
Sparring Day Success
In July we hosted a friendly interclub joint sparring session with other local clubs joining PremierKi: Ickenham, Leventis, Rusty, Kings, & Sanshin. It was a great event and an excellent opportunity for all levels and grades with lots of positive feedback and we look forward to hosting another one soon….
PremierKi Dan Grading
The Annual Dan Grading date will be on Saturday 28th September (no normal classes this day) – we once again welcome Master Azim Razak to the grading Panel. British Taekwondo News
Most of you are aware that in Nov 2018 Master Gemma was appointed as a Non-Executive Director on the British Taekwondo Board, along with Siva Ramasamy from Gurumu Taekwondo. Since then there has been significant positive changes and the new CEO started in August – Master Ian Leafe from GB Taekwondo, along with a new Chair Mr Eamonn O’Rourke, a finance NED Ms Helen Martin, and a legal NED Mr Matthew Barnes. The new Board and CEO are working very hard and please be assured that the National Governing Body is in very safe hands.

Everyone has signed the photography permission form so we are planning to post the photographs from the Club Championships on the PremierKi Facebook page – please follow, comment, like – and feel free to post on their too. We are slowly moving into technology and hope to have an Instagram page soon, and we are also on twitter as @premierki.
